About NCEO Membership

The National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO) is a membership organization. Members pay a yearly fee and in return receive our newsletter, access to our Web site's members area, discounts on publications and events, and the right to call or email us for advice and referrals.

You count as a NCEO member if (1) you yourself joined, (2) you are in a company using or considering employee ownership (not a service provider in this field) that joined at any location, or (3) you work for a service provider in this field and your office is a Referral Service member. (Note that for service providers, membership is never firm-wide.) If you are unsure, call us at 510-208-1300 or email us at nceo@nceo.org. If you are not an NCEO member but join at the same time you order something else, you will receive the discounted members-only prices on anything you order.

If you order something and indicate that you are an NCEO member but it turns out that you are not, we will have to put your order on hold and contact you to ask whether you want to pay extra to join as a member or pay extra to buy the books (or whatever you are ordering) at the non-member rate.
