Link to Us

If you have a Web site, we want you to link to us. You'll provide your Web site visitors with one-click access to our hundreds of pages of free information on employee stock plans and creating an ownership culture. And if you're an NCEO member who links to us, we'll link back to you (see sidebar). The sample links below assume that you are linking to our home page, but it's fine with us if you link to another page on our site, when appropriate. For example, link to our Employee Ownership Update for the latest news on ESOPs and equity compensation. (We long ago made NCEO.org our main site, so you would be linking here in any case, not to ESOP.org).

We prefer that you use our full name (National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO), or simply National Center for Employee Ownership, with or without a "The" in front) as the link text instead of just "NCEO."

But First, a Simple Request...

As a condition of linking to us, please do not link in a way that implies an endorsement from us, and do not link in a way that implies you are an NCEO member unless you are a member. If you use our logo, it must link to our site. And, of course, don't put our site in a frame so that it appears to be part of your site.

Sample Links

Below we have a series of sample text and graphic links you can copy and paste into your site. You might end up customizing the code to fit into your site, such as adding a closing forward slash to image tags to validate on XHTML sites (ignore that if you don't know what it means).

Text Links

Here's a basic text link; as noted above, we prefer that you link to us using our full name as the link text instead of just "NCEO":

Even better, add a brief description such as this:

Graphic Links

You also can display our logo and make it a link. For your convenience, the copy-and-paste HTML below links to various sizes of the logo on our site so you can use our logo without downloading the logo and uploading it to your site. However, if you can upload graphic files to your site, you should right-click the logo of your choice (Ctrl-click on a Mac), save it to your hard drive, and then upload and incorporate it into your site as desired. The width and height of each logo is incorporated into the image's filename.

For a small logo, use this:

If You're a Member, We'll Link Back to You

If you are a current NCEO member, we'll link to you on our Members on the Web page if you link to us. Simply email customerservice@nceo.org with (1) the URL to link to; (2) the name of your organization (this will be used as the link text); (3) whether you are a service provider, an employee ownership company, or a nonprofit or academic; (4) a URL of a page on your site that links to us.

Share Our Site on LinkedIn, Twitter, Etc.

As you browse our site, you might find something that you want to share on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc. To facilitate this, there is a sharing widget at the bottom of most pages on our site (like this one). Mouse over the widget, choose the resource you want, and click its icon to connect to that site and post our link.
