WEBINAR REPLAY

Dealing with Down Times in an ESOP Company
NCEO Webinar replays are the recorded version of our live ESOP Webinars, using PowerPoint presentations broadcast over the Internet. You will receive a link to replay the Webinar whenever and as often as you wish, for up to six months from the presentation date.About This Meeting
When the economy or your industry faces tough times economically, how can you best manage your ESOP? This seminar will look at how plans can (and cannot) be restructured including changing distribution schedules and terminating or freezing the plan. We will also cover involuntary partial plan terminations and their consequences. A second presentation will review how plans can also be refinanced to help manage debt, including extending the loan term, allowing interest-only payments, and, in some cases, selling shares out of the plan. Finally, we will look at how employee ownership can help keep companies strong in the face of hard times through contingency planning, open communications, and employee involvement in seeking cost reductions and new revenue.Program
