Jack Stack on a Stake in the Outcome

Jack Stack, CEO of SRC Holdings and author of both The Great Game of
Business and A Stake in the Outcome, is one of the most influential business
leaders in America. Under his leadership, Springfield ReManufacturing
Corporation (now SRC Holdings) grew from a struggling remanufacturer of
truck engines into a diversified corporation whose stock value has gone up
from 10 cents a share to over $140 per share.
Jack Stack is quick to attribute this growth to a few simple, powerful
ideas: open the books to employees, teach them to use the numbers, give the
authority to act on them, and provide them with a stake in the outcome. He
created a national movement around these techniques called the Great Game of
Business.
Jack has been an inspiration to the NCEO and to employee ownership companies
generally. In this hour-long special Webinar, Jack explains how employee ownership

stories.
