Avoid Hotel Fraud
Almost three-quarters of conference organizers report that hotel scammers have approached their attendees. These "pirates" will claim to make a reservation on your behalf and take your credit card information, but you may find yourself without a room and out of pocket. The NCEO has not authorized anyone to contact sponsors and attendees about lodging, so if someone contacts you by phone or email or refers you a website to make "reservations," please forward the information to us. To make your hotel reservations, use only the link or phone number supplied above or in our brochure.
