This session looks at how trustees need to represent employees in issues such as business strategy, board selection, executive compensation, and responding to an offer.
Scot is a Sr. V.P. at GreatBanc Trust and he has more than 30 years of experience in the retirement plan and ESOP industry. He works with ESOP companies across the U.S. on transactions (initial, second-stage, redemptions, loan refinancing, M&A, etc.) and provides ongoing trust services once the ESOP is established. His clients range in size from the small to very large, and from very basic in structure to the more complex. He speaks regularly at local, regional and national ESOP events. He is a member of the NCEO, the ESOP Association, a committee member of the Interdisciplinary Advisory Committee on Fiduciary Issues of the TEA, and an executive of the IA/NE Chapter of the TEA.
