Emily Cervino, CEP, from the Certified Equity Professional Institute (CEPI), and Matt Roberts, from Fidelity Stock Plan Services will unveil the newest installment in the CEPI's GPS series - GPS | Performance Awards. This session will highlight the unique aspects of performance awards, particularly those that impact administration and financial reporting. Attendees will learn how GPS | Performance Awards can be used as an essential tool in their equity compensation tool box.

Emily Cervino, CEP, Executive Director, Certified Equity Professional Institute, Santa Clara University
As Director of the Certified Equity Professional Institute (CEPI) at Santa Clara University, Emily leverages nearly 15 years of experience in the equity compensation field to develop and promote the rigorous standards of the CEPI. Emily coordinates program marketing and development to grow the CEP program and the professional recognition. She also coordinates an extensive volunteer base in defining course curriculum, test development, and standard setting to comply with the rigorous certification standards. Under Emily's leadership, the CEPI launched a research agenda focusing on risks and controls for equity compensation. Emily is a frequent speaker at equity compensation events, including the NASPP, Global Equity Organization, the NCEO, and, of course, the CEPI. Emily holds a BS from Santa Clara University and obtained her CEP designation in 1998.

Matt Roberts, Vice President, Fidelity Stock Plan Services
Matt Roberts has worked in accounting, equity compensation and client services throughout his career, giving him a unique perspective in meeting the needs of plan sponsors.

In his current position as Vice President of Financial Reporting and Industry Relations, Mathew oversees the development and delivery of equity compensation financial reporting solutions for Fidelity Stock Plan Services. Matt is Chair Elect of the Advisory Board of the Certified Equity Professional Institute (CEPI) at Santa Clara University and a member of the Technical Oversight Board for the CEPI's GPS publications. Prior to Fidelity, Mathew worked within PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP's Systems Process and Assurance Group with Financial Services clients across the US. Mathew received a BBA in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
