Equity Compensation Administration Co-Sourcing or Who Does What and When?
From Our Equity Compensation Webinar Series
Each one-hour Webinar features an experienced authority in the field and discusses a requested topic. This replay was recorded on August 1, 2012.
About This Meeting
Equity compensation administration requires a thorough understanding of four core disciplines - tax, accounting, securities law, and plan design, analysis & administration - in order to ensure that a plan is compliant with the myriad laws and regulations on equity compensation and sales of securities. At this level of expertise, hiring a qualified professional can be an expensive proposition and is often not included in the budget when early-stage companies decide to offer equity compensation to their employees. Co-sourcing the plan administration is a popular alternative to an in-house administrator that lets the company delegate activities outside of their in-house expertise. But how do you know what to delegate and what to keep? Join experts from two of the industry's top outsourcing firms to learn about delegation of duties and operational dynamics in a co-sourcing relationship for administration of equity compensation plans.Learning objectives of this webinar include:
- Types of co-sourcing relationships
- What and how to delegate
- Internal and external controls
- Effective communication
- Relationship management
