About This Meeting

This Webinar will bring you up-to-date on what we know about two aspects of ESOPs. First, we will look at their impact on corporate performance, employee financial security, and employee engagement. Second, we will use NCEO's proprietary research to give insight into what current practices ESOP companies are using and what changes they are considering on a wide variety of issues from governance issues (like board structure and ESOP trustees), distribution policies, financing repurchase obligations, executive compensation, and more.

Tony is the senior consultant at the Beyster Institute and secretary for the California Center for Employee Ownership, both at UCSD, with the mandate to consult with companies interested in employee ownership. His career in employee ownership spanned 30 years before joining UCSD and included principal roles in some of the best-known ESOP consulting and administration firms in the U.S., including Principal Financial Group. Tony is a frequent speaker and often-published authority on a wide variety of topics related to the operation of ESOPs.

Loren Rodgers

National Center for Employee Ownership

Loren joined the NCEO in 2005 and became its executive director in 2010. He writes extensively on employee ownership and has spoken at events around the world. Since entering the field in 1995 as a consultant, he has worked with hundreds of companies. His expertise includes ESOPs, equity compensation, best practices for employee ownership companies, research, effective communications, employee motivation, corporate governance, ESOP transactions and operations, and business literacy.
