Large Workforce ESOP Company Network
A Forum to Share Ideas and Best Practices
Mission
The mission of the Large Workforce ESOP Company Network is to provide a forum for sharing ideas and best practices to address the unique challenges and complexities associated with leading a large ESOP company (one thousand or more employees).
Membership
Membership is open to any ESOP company with at least one thousand employees. To join the group, a company must be a member in good standing with NCEO.
Company Representatives
Companies may be represented in the network by a member of the executive team. In addition, members may invite one other leader from their company, including a non-employee member of their board, to a particular session.
Meetings
Meetings will be held in person twice per year, typically at the NCEO Annual Conference and at the Fall Forum. Meetings will be held online two other times per year, between the in-person sessions. Attendance will be limited to twenty participants, give or take.
Topics covered will include repurchase obligation, asset management, creating an effective large-scale ownership culture, risk management, succession planning and leadership development, board governance, and more.
Steering Committee
A Steering Committee will be designated that will be responsible for setting criteria for membership, scheduling the meetings, and vetting the topics for discussion.
Reporting
Once per year, the Steering Committee will report to NCEO on the activities of the Group.
Fees
At the present time, no fees will be charged for membership in the Group.
