The Large ESOP Workforce Peer Network brings together CEOs, CFOs, and other senior leaders from large employee-owned organizations to share insights, discuss operational and workforce challenges, and strengthen both organizational performance and ownership culture.

This group is all about collaboration and practical problem-solving whether you’re navigating complex governance structures, improving communication across multiple sites, aligning leadership and board responsibilities, or fostering ownership culture at scale. With regular online meetings, you’ll gain fresh perspectives, learn from fellow leaders managing large ESOPs, and expand your professional network while enhancing your organizational impact.

Structure of the Peer Network

The Large ESOP Workforce Peer Network meets for 90-minute sessions designed for connection, learning, and shared problem-solving. Each meeting includes timely discussions, peer learning, and may include breakout groups that dive into real-world challenges facing large employee-owned organizations.

These sessions will cover a wide range of topics relevant to large ESOP companies, including:

  • Governance and allocating responsibilities between the board, executives, and EO leaders
  • Succession planning & leadership transitions at scale
  • Valuation challenges for large organizations
  • Workforce engagement and retention across multiple locations
  • ESOP education and ownership culture
  • Integrating new technologies across the workforce
  • Inclusive management practices for multi-site, diverse teams
  • Strategies for scaling growth while maintaining employee engagement and culture

Intended Audience

This peer network is designed for executive and senior leaders from large employee-owned companies (1,000+ employees). It’s ideal for CEOs, CFOs, and other senior executives who want to collaborate with peers, explore practical solutions, and strengthen the impact of employee ownership across large, complex organizations. Each participating company may include one additional leader to broaden perspectives and enhance organizational learning.

2026 Meeting Details

Virtual meetings are held three times a year on the second Thursday from 11:00am-12:30pm PT  / 12:00-1:30pm MT / 1:00-2:30 CT / 2:00-3:30 ET.

How to Join

The Large ESOP Workforce Peer Network is free for all active NCEO member companies. There are no additional fees.

To sign up for the meeting series, simply submit the form on this page. Once submitted, you will receive calendar invitations with Zoom links for all scheduled sessions.
