Coupled with their potential power, these organizations come with specific considerations that require careful attention. Share What You’ve Learned Building an Employee-Owned Holding Company

Holding companies are one of the fastest-growing ways employee ownership is expanding, but the people running them often have few peers to compare notes with. There’s no standard playbook for keeping an ownership culture strong across businesses in different industries and locations, or for making plan design, finances, and governance work across an entire portfolio. Much of what works has been figured out by the leaders and advisors doing it every day.

That’s why we want to hear from you. The EO Holding Company Summit is the NCEO’s first in-person event built entirely around ESOP holding companies, and we’re looking for speakers who can help attendees learn from real experience: what’s worked, what hasn’t, and what you’d do differently.

Why Speak?

  • Help shape the conversation at the first event of its kind, for a part of the field that’s still defining its best practices
  • Share your expertise with an engaged room of holding company leaders who face the same questions you’ve worked through
  • Connect with peers and practitioners who understand the unique demands of a multi-company ESOP
  • Give back to the employee ownership community by making the path a little clearer for the companies coming next

Deadline: Friday, November 6, 2026

Who We're Looking to Hear From

  • CEOs, presidents, and senior executives of ESOP holding companies and their operating companies
  • CFOs and finance leaders managing cash, repurchase obligations, and capital allocation across a portfolio
  • HR, culture, and communications leaders working to build a shared ownership identity across different businesses
