Dr. Adria Scharf Named Director of Rutgers Institute for the Study of Employee Ownership and Profit Sharing
The Rutgers Institute for the Study of Employee Ownership and Profit Sharing named Dr. Adria Scharf as its new director, succeeding Dr. Bill Castellano as of July 1.
Dr. Scharf has been a longtime supporter and proponent of employee ownership, culminating in her time at the Rutgers Institute, where, in addition to research and teaching, she has spearheaded innovative projects, including the Curriculum Library for Employee Ownership (CLEO). She recently launched the Research to Practice Hub, which connects academic research on employee ownership outcomes and best practices to on-the-ground strategies that both workers and companies can use in their everyday work. Dr. Scharf was a keynote panelist at our 2022 Annual Employee Ownership Conference in Seattle.
She takes over leadership from Dr. Bill Castellano, who will continue to lead the NJ/NY Center for Employee Ownership. The NCEO congratulates Dr. Scharf and looks forward to the growth of the Institute under her leadership.
