Today is the first day of Employee Ownership Month 2022! Congratulations to all employee-owners and to all the people who make employee ownership happen. You are the reason employee ownership makes companies stronger, communities more durable, employees more secure, and our nation better.

October is a community celebration, and the NCEO can help you celebrate in style. Check out our EO Month resources, which are filled with ideas, pictures, videos, games, and even just a little bit of a history lesson from NCEO founder Corey Rosen. One of my personal favorites is this video from Morton Buildings about the educational games they play. (And knowing them, I can’t wait to see what they come up with for this year’s Employee Ownership Month!)

If you have an NCEO membership, you can send (virtually!) a group to join us on October 11 (9:30am Pacific) for Ready, Set, Game, which is an EO-themed game show with tips for effective communication.

Do you need a last-minute guest speaker for your celebrations? I’ll record a custom video greeting for the first five companies to contact me ([email protected]). You can give people the national perspective on the countless reasons employee ownership is worth celebrating!
