The NCEO's 2020 ESOP Executive Compensation Survey is now collecting responses through October 30. Conducted since 2005, this survey is one of very few data sources for ESOP-specific executive compensation data. The survey is open to all privately held companies with an ESOP in place.

Fortunately for ESOP companies, their employees really do have an ownership stake in the business they work for, but as we have said time and time again at NCEO meetings and events, the ESOP alone cannot create this type of attitude or engagement.

Each set of slides includes a map of ESOP company locations, the number of privately held ESOPs and participants, an industry breakdown, and more. As I wrote in a blog post from July 30, the Ohio Employee Ownership Center's conference is just around the corner. The event, scheduled for Thursday, August 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. eastern time will be hosted via the same platform as our 2020 Annual Conference earlier this year.
